Astral Body

The Astral Body is also known as the Soul body. According to metaphysical interpretations, the astral or Astral Body is the channel between the soul plane and the Creator or Source/Intelligent Infinity. Through this channel, an entity can receive information from the universe and can convert this information into thoughts or ideas. The place where the Astral Body lives is called the Astral Realm.

It is said that the aura of the Astral Body, a rainbow of colors, manifests outside each living being and extends approximately eight to twelve inches in length. The Astral Body is the bridge between the physical plane and the spiritual plane, without space/time limitations.

From the concept of cosmic science, or Metaphysics, a mind/body/Spirit Complex has Biological Body, Etheric Body, Emotional Body, Mental Body, Astral Body, Cosmic Body, over-Cosmic Body, True Self, etc. The “body” or “layer”. For example, Etheric Body is also referred to etheric layer.
