In a metaphysical understanding, the gateway is when a person, through the discipline of the personality, elevates the vibrational frequency of love to a certain level, and their consciousness suddenly crosses the gateway or doorway of love and understanding. At this moment, consciousness undergoes a qualitative leap and connects to the infinite intelligent energy and wisdom of the Universe. This is referred to as “enlightenment”.
